lyrically and thematically very strong, but some of the earlier tracks don't quite hit as they should and so take what could have been a mid-high 80s album to a low 80s album.

For me, it doesn't live up to their debut album. There's still stuff to like in here, but a couple of tracks pulled it down a lot.

What can I say? This type of music and vibe is exactly what I'm a sucker for. I just wish that there was more of it.

I have to say, going in I was skeptical of the of the Internet personality turned musician, but I was pleasantly surprised. There are some really nice songs on this album (diet pepsi, headphones on), but some of the others do hold it back a bit (high fashion, money is everything).
