Kate Bush - The Sensual World
100

Underated by the Kate Bush community, but forme, a mature, beautifully crafted and gracious album; so sure about what it wants and so sensitive about how to materiallize it. Actually my second favorite work from this Out of the World Artist, it has less experimentation than the last two albums, on the other hand, surronded by the ethereal and the literature (both the book references and the storytelling – an artistry mastered by Kate Bush in her magnum opus, Hounds of Love, which, as its ... read more

Kate Bush - The Dreaming

Hell or heaven? Can you hear an angel singing or is it the soul of Houdini? Are we eagering to escape a prison or being expelled involuntarily from ones heart? It doesn't matter at all, this is a dream, it is surreal, we are already in the fantastic confused mind of miss Bush, we don't know where we're going or even if we're going somewhere, but one thing is certain: this is one of the best albums ever made.

(Ironically, this album adresses many realistic and social ... read more

Urias - CARRANCA

Florence + the Machine - Everybody Scream

I feel it misses something. It's a good song and it truly tries to bring out this spooky feeling, but it could've gone harder. The chorus with that loud pre-chorus getting you excited for it and then...all the hard instruments are gone and it felt empty. The vocals still there and they're beautiful, but they seem to be unintentionally alone. It's not bad, it's just silent.

And silence is the last thing I want from a Florence + the machine song. Ironically this one ... read more

Florence + the Machine - Sympathy Magic

The drums are loud, the wind is blowing, she's roaring and i'm speechless

This one conveys the confidence of their recent work, the worry to make each song sound particularly big, and the freedom and the wideness of her older work

They seem to be sure of themselves and it makes this sound like...libertation

Needless to say I'm excited for the upcoming album

Gal Costa - -Fa-Tal-

Rebecca Black - SALVATION

Short - maybe too short - , but I wouldn't mind if the pop girlies began to make records more like this if it means we would get rid of all that lazy and generic filler songs that even they don't care that much about and prioritize making more fun and dynamic albums like a good pop record should be

Kate Bush - Hounds of Love
100

My all time favorite album

The theatrical singing of kate comes to its prime in this LP combined with lyrics that convey the complex feelings of fear, happiness, longing, despair, anxiety and the only emotion that can synthesize all of these: love; love for your beloved one, love for your inner child, love for your parents, love for yourself. When used along to the unique samples and instruments that already marked their presence on its antecedent - "the dreaming" - but now ... read more
