Sorry for my rare presence. Haven't felt like reviewing for a while lately. But I did listen to the new Current Value stuff very loyally!!!!!! And I'll finally tell the public what I think of it!!!!!
This EP is quite much themed around his self-made e-scooter from the cover and titles. And not gonna lie, "Acceleration" has a good ring to it and the cover looks slick.

Gotten lots more into Phace's music recently, so I'll give those releases I listened to a review starting with this. Funnily enough I got into it because of someone I met on Discord and not by myself like some of his other releases LOL

1. I Need More - The pacing of the intro could be a little better... like it gets suspenseful too quickly and the suspense takes more time than the intro. Oh well, at least it goes hard as hell. I like the unconventional DnB style as well! 9/10
2. Capitalism - GOES HARD! That's all I can say to this. 9/10
3. Big Data - GOES HARDER!!! Rugged and aggressive without going overboard. Holy shit this is so good 9.5/10

1. The Lick - Weird jazzy noir fusion(?) with neurofunk. It's fun but doesn't really go deep with it. 7.5/10
2. Random - GOES HARD!!! That smooth bass mid-drop oh my god 9/10

1. Power Match - Really nice way to introduce a track thanks to its synths, holy shit. Enjoying the crass bass on this too. May not be super aggressive but the atmosphere makes up for it and I like it a lot. 9/10
2. Along The Line - Not much of a standout CV track but it's a fun listen! 8/10

I've come to the conclusion that reviewing music releases is stupid. Taking an indefinite hiatus but when I'm in the right mood again, I'll return to reviewing stuff.
