Piñata by Freddie Gibbs and Madlib is a masterpiece. Everything about this album sticks with me. The topics of street life and Freddie's lifestyle. Freddie's storytelling and how he can write about his drug dealings and what it was like. It’s a recurring theme throughout Piñata. Im sorry but ts dude isn’t for me✌🏽 Ts is the definition of tiktok music. Like Xaviersobased if he was hiked up on purple diesel while consuming speed with his producers rushing to put out whatever. His other work like Music and Me, Fidelio, and Easter Pink are great songs, but imo thats all he offers outside of his collabs.
Pretty damn good, plus I don’t see the repetition as a problem like others, if anything it’s pretty tame and outshined by the production. Xavier is still delivering a consistent great performance with his good wordplay humor.
