love poppy, she had a 100% streak with her new stuff but this kinda crushed it. the chorus is horrible and the song writing is nowhere near as grabbing as her other stuff, it's a fine song but this is no where near single quality. this is "that one song on the album that's not horrible but really bad in comparison to the others, but still good enough for a good album" quality
even though i like tomorrow is nearly.. and narcissist on the verge.. i still see a lot of the things ppl point out, the lack of creativity and repetitive themes and too self deprecating to the point it's kind of embarrassing and all that. but i think this is a really, really good example of what they can do in the realm of regular music
it's so sad awsten knight's mangled corpse was found in a rural mexican desert after this album was released and they never released any more music ever! such a good band. what a tragedy.
