Feels kind of unnecessary and clumsy as a soundtrack to the movie, because as with many soundtracks, many songs end up feeling a tad generic in their production, despite it, it is a pleasant celebration of african descent on its' own right.

I love her, I really do, but as short as the songs are having 19 will lead to lots of filler and the style being so consistently "chill" doesn't help make it a particularly engaging experience... That being said, this was my most streamed "album" of 2025 so yeah, there's a few great songs.
