Bro's 40 talking about smack that ass til it's cheetah print and singing about dming onlyfans models, this guy is really in a midlife crisis. Even if this was just slop that he dropped to get out of his label deal surely there is better throwaways that you have instead of wasting everyone's time like this.
I really like some of Joji's songs but it kills me how he can't put together an album man. This isn't bad but could have been so much more
Favorite Track: Sojourn
It took me a while to get to this but I must say I'm honestly amazed with this record. Some of the best music that I've heard this year, I think that the instrumentals are phenomenal and the vocalist really gave his all with this one. Not too long ago I listened to their highly acclaimed Sunbather which was also a great album, but in my opinion I believe that this album surpasses even that. I would say this is a great album for someone to try and get into black metal because it's ... read more
Awesome riffs and great drumwork on this album, these guys might creep up to becoming one of my favorite bands.
Favorite Track: Sleeping Giant
This album was really good, not quite as strong as Imaginal Disk imo but still full of bangers and great melodies.
Favorite Track: Chaeri
Really atmospheric and moody album, and I really like this a lot. I want to listen to this on a rainy day.
Favorite Track: Inside Out
I'm a bit disappointed to be honest especially after waiting 5 years since The Slow Rush. It's not a bad album imo but definitely not what I was looking forward to. Not that I'm a stranger to house music or anything but it just feels like his most forgettable album but I do like Dracula and Piece of Heaven so there's that I guess.
Favorite Track: Dracula
Phenomenal. I love the rapping and production on this so much, I can tell now that Black Thought will definitely end up becoming one of my favorite rappers after listening to more of his work, and I also want to give the props to everyone else involved in the making of this album because they nailed it on all fronts. This should definitely be in more all-time discussions because this is an amazing body of work and one of the best albums I've heard.

After hearing the news I decided that I should finally listen to this album. I've listened to Brown Sugar and Voodoo and I thought that they were both beautiful and amazing records but I've put this one on hold for a while waiting for the right time, and out of respect I decided that today was that day. This album was released 14 years later after his long hiatus from Voodoo and it stands just as amazing as the two albums he released prior. The production and vocals are on point as ... read more
Stunning debut solo album from Geese frontman Cameron Winter. I would say this is just as good as the work of the band. I truly wish them all the best as they're one of the best bands active today in my opinion. $0 is one of the most beautiful songs that I've heard all year. (Yes I know it came out in 2024 but still).
Favorite Track: $0
Bro this was honestly mad boring outside a few tracks. Thug is officially washed ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Favorite Track: Pardon My Back
Awesome, they balance the soft and heavy parts so well.
Favorite Track: Face of Melinda
The latest album in her discography and it's one of my favorites from her. On this album I found a lot of the songwriting and melodies to be more interesting and better for me than her last album The Idler Wheel, although I did like that one as well just not as much as this one. I must say I do hope that she someday decides to release another album but if not she has a great discography nonetheless.
Favorite Track: Cosmonauts
Absolutely stunning, this is the first project I've listened to by this band and I must say that this has me intrigued to check out their other work. The instrumentals and lyrics here are great and I really appreciate the message of this album. It's full of passion and empowerment and you can feel it in every track. So far this might be my AOTY.
Favorite Track: Look Down On Us
Wow this is some amazing songwriting, it really shows how passionate and focused on her music that she really is. I love the angry tone that she has in some of the songs here cause it makes the writing pack even more of a punch and the instrumentals on here are nice as well although I think the highlight of this album is definitely Fiona herself.
Favorite Track: Get Gone
This is my first time listening to one of their albums, I meant to listen to Trench but I just never got around to it, but I saw that this dropped today and thought I'd give it a shot. I'd say this is actually pretty good even if some of the songs aren't really my thing. Overall I'm pretty impressed considering I remember some of their songs from the past that I wasn't a huge fan of.
