It's not so often that an album manages to impress you purely from an instrumental point of view. This is one of those albums. Even if you were to completely remove the vocals, I am convinced this album would still be perfect. I don't know how he (and all the additional musicians) did it, but the amount of care that was put into layering and details on this record is quite impressive. This sounds like a fairly generic alternative metal album. I appreciate the emotional value, but there isn't much variety and the riffs/melodies are nothing special, they just support each song nicely but not much more than that. An OK listen, but I will not be revisiting this one.

This is one of the most surreal albums I've ever heard. It feels chaotic and messy, but in the best way possible. With its unconventional rhythms, intricate soundscapes, and unique production quality, it compels you to listen again, discovering new details each time. A very creative and well-crafted album that contains some of the band's strongest individual songs, but also works well enough overall that I would venture to say that this is their best album to date.
