My most anticipated album of the year finally dropped, and holy shit, it’s everything I hoped for and more. Let’s dive in.
That cinematic intro "NO QUESTIONS ASKED" was straight-up transcendent. It’s like stepping into a movie, setting the stage for the wild ride ahead. Then "WAGING WAR" hits, and it’s perfect. Quadeca’s production is unreal... every layer, every vocal, every effect is meticulously crafted. I could say that about every song ... read more
It’s short and sweet, and because of that it never drags. The whole album feels like a vibe more than a big statement. It’s not life-changing or anything crazy, but it doesn’t try to be. It knows exactly what it wants to do, and it does that well.
The title track “Ca$ino” is fire and easily the highlight. Overall, I fuck with every song on here. There isn’t a single track where I feel like skipping, everything flows nicely and keeps the energy right.

Elegant and Brutal.
This album works as a soundtrack first, not as a big pop statement. It’s not BRAT and it’s not trying to be. Instead, Charli leans into atmosphere, mood, and restraint and honestly, she executes that really well.
The opening is the biggest surprise: a haunting, industrial spoken-word moment by John Cale. It’s something you’d never expect from a Charli project, but it works immediately and sets the tone perfectly. Charli clearly looks up to Cale, ... read more
Love Is Not Enough proves once again that Converge just don’t miss.
It’s short, around 31 minutes but honestly that works in its favor. No filler, no dragging things out. The writing is sharp, the pacing is tight, and Jacob Bannon’s vocals are still absolutely insane. He sounds desperate, furious, and controlled all at once, which is exactly what Converge does best.
The album is chaotic but never messy. Everything feels violent yet organized, and the songs flow into each ... read more
Finally, it’s here. The Fall-Off. J. Cole’s last album.
Cole drops a concept double album, 24 tracks split into two discs. It’s definitely good, and honestly I got what I wanted from it, but at the same time, I think less could’ve been more. The concept is there, but it could’ve been executed more tightly with fewer songs.
Out of the 24 tracks, I really love about 9 or 10 of them. The rest aren’t bad at all, they’re good, some even very good but they ... read more
My Ghosts Go Ghost is an incredible genre-blending album with insanely layered production and a consistently beautiful, heavy atmosphere. The soundscape is dense and immersive without ever feeling cluttered. Effected vocals, rapping, and songwriting are all strong throughout. This album feels carefully constructed, emotionally honest, and deeply intentional.
It’s a very thought-provoking record, centered on grief, loss, and personal growth, and it handles those themes with real grace. ... read more
