Something about this album just flows so well, with a fun and earnest mix of glitch and bedroom pop and representation matters in a growing scene of hyper-adjacent pop as it goes through a revival in recent years.
Just an emotional ride, that starts slow and eventually picks up and doesn't let up.
Something about shoegaze, dreampop, and noise rock feels so well done here.
This feels like a return to form, with Damon's keen interest in other musical styles and the eastern musical arrangements are so well done and beautiful, a few of the tracks fall flat, but overall very strong return.
Consistent, solid, beautiful arrangement and I think has a stronger later half.
