genuinely the most underrated record on this site. its insane how beautiful and engulfing her production is.
yves' most thought through EP yet-
this is a great step into the right direction with her actually having writing credits but, i dont like the whole focus of her current career being on collaborations. fans rally to get her collabs with artists they like which transforms yves' style to be more akin to those artists, it feels like its heavily influenced her and i wish i got to see what she'd make without this input, but we'll never know. im glad we're mostly ditching ... read more
"also this is definitely what los camp soundsl ike to british people" - katseruu
(listened with katseruu twitter)
tracklisting was nice but sometimes the cutoffs were really sudden and i thought my apple music crashed. love the vocals and guitars so much though, vocalist hits that same scratch that gareth (lc!) hits for me. lyrics deeply unserious though but fun
cultist fan groups are now allowing fully AI generated slop to enter their ears while they don’t conjugate a single thought while listening to the song. because they don’t want to think, they want perfectly engineered ear slop to be pumped into their ears at rapid release rates.
not liking something is now seen as “not liking fun” and having your own opinion is boring because “it’s not that deep”.
yeah. THE BLACK LABEL's Music has not grown, or changed in the past 10 years. everytime they release something it sounds like its from 2016, even though TEDDY didn't produce this..... TEDDY's influence on other producers that the label hires is extremely noticeable and its horrendous
the mix is, weird? idk if it’s a spotify thing but, the mix feels very off. but the song itself, is as amazing as usual. her vocals shine as always, and the instrumental plays perfectly into the song.
somehow even better than “MINISERIES”, SUMIN’s vocals and Slom’s production work so well together.
fav tracks: WHY, WHY, WHY, JUST A BREAKUP
amazing music video, even if its hard to watch on a phone screen, the concept is amazing the filming and editing all work so well with each other that this may be my favorite music video of all time
oh wow. geniunely the exact opposite of what i expected. my favorite part of the entire album was probably the drums. "overcompensate" is a really good defining track, and my favorite track i think
the synths in 'CHIHIRO' really stood out and just sounded amazing.
fav: CHIHIRO
i touched you only for a fortnite is one of the lyrics ever lyriced
the music video was cool, but uninspired. the VFX were horrid and cheap though.
the song itself is just a song off of thr tortured poets department, slightly more interesting than the rest of the tracks though
