Not as good as their Tri project, but I think the ambient soundscape takes the cake for being very immersive. Even if some parts are repetitive, the consistency helps keep me in a trance state.
Most generic sounding k-pop I've heard in a while. The instrumentals sound good, but the lyrics are as corny as a cornball. I cannot take myself seriously if there is a track Roll in the project. What was the management thinking when it comes to writing these lyrics? They are nonsensical at most, and the instrumentals are there to carry the entire vibe of the album. I think this is their magnum opus considering the fact that they did an amazing job at encapsulating nostalgic in a musical form. After 13 years of hiatus, they delivered my expectations with a hug - their music makes it feel like I'm receiving a hug by the soundscapes they incorporated. I thought I was going to hate on this project just like SIMILE XD, but this album threw me off by surprise. I relistened to Nurture several times before writing this review, so I could have a more unbiased perspective to why Porter Robinson composed in a certain manner.
