The opening track may be true to its name ( not really I just thought it was kinda boring) but the rest of this EP is well worth the listen if you're an IDM and Ambient Techno fan. Autechre is a legend for a reason.
Aaaaaah I love this. They took the experimental techno stuff from incunabula and amber and made a "short" 39 minute EP. The songs are structurally way more interesting. They are these long builds that grow bigger and bigger and paint these beautiful ambient spaces. It's just a pleasure to listen to. I would cut about a minute or two off the whole thing, but that's a really minor complaint.
Stellar. 4 perfect songs. Blends great techno with equally powerful ambient. No complaints.
Some of the most stimulating garbage I have ever listened to. And rather unusually melodic for Autechre's standards.
