LP5 is a bit different from other Autechre albums. Autechre has always been known for their cold idm songs but on this album, they added some warmth on it. The whole album is simple yet evokes powerful emotions. LP5 holds a special place in the Autechre discography and the whole album is great, especially the beautiful composition - Rae.
I fucking loved this but I think my enjoyment was enhanced by the fact that this is reaaally good music to do homework to
Easily one of the very best Autechre releases in my book. LP5 is such a powerhouse of sound, cold and defiant, yet emotive and playful. The beauty of this record is subtle, but once you really find it, it's all-encompassing.
