and he's only overtly sexist and ableist some of the time!
i keep holding out for deb never to do something interesting...
she exists in the same universe as so many of my favs, and while i don't think she's ever put out anything bad, she just never seems to do anything different or new or alive. to me, her music just seems to float. that can be fine when the music is upbeat and poppy, but on this album, where most songs are quite slow, their lacking of anything interesting becomes more apparent and difficult to ignore.
