I was told to listen to this by a polish music snob. This album saved me from the mindset all concept albums are bad. The lush instrumentals and electric sounds make it both timeless and exclusive to 1981. It has plenty of that hope that older generations had for the future, the "we'll have flying cars in 100 years!" optimism we've all heard. This album is a great part in why I've kept going. I came across it at a weird time in my life and it's genuinely inspired me to keep hope near. I strongly encourage, even if you're not a fan of anything like this, listen to it. Or don't. The World Spins regardless.
