My first album of the year is the remarkable debut by Hania Rani, in collaboration with Dobrawa Czocher—a duo that masterfully redefines the boundaries of modern classical music.
Hania Rani, born Hanna Maria Raniszewska, is a Polish pianist, composer, and vocalist who has risen to prominence as one of the most celebrated and innovative Polish composers of the 21st century. Her unique ability to blend contemporary classical elements with deep emotional resonance has earned her widespread ... read more
Wow, this album was truly a journey. Every song on it evoked completely different emotions in me, ones that would be difficult to express with something as simple as words. I mean, you really FEEL this album and every song on it; you live through each track while it plays, fully experiencing it.
This album has only strengthened my conviction that FJM is undoubtedly one of the best male lyricists, thanks to his versatility, awareness, and absolute honesty.
In his lyrics, he references the visions of future generations, a world of tomorrow, the fall of civilization, climate catastrophe, ideological battles, narcissism, death, self-absorption, religion, centrism, depression, cultural critique of art, music, sports, and technology. FJM creates a reality from the perspective of a ... read more
The sweetest album I've heard in a long time. Summer has just begun, I haven't even felt the vacation vibe yet, but thanks to it, I've already been transported to an autumn day full of sentiment, nostalgia and warmth.
In its own way, incredibly unique in its minimalism, both in sound and atmosphere, I'm in love with it<3
I'm shaking like crazy after listening to this, this shit changed me in the middle of the night.
"Ugly and Vengeful" is undoubtedly one of the best songs I've ever heard in my life, pure perfection.
After all those songs, "Källans Återuppståndelse" felt like a heartfelt hug, something extraordinarily beautiful, perfect for closing this unique album.
An hour and a half passed like a moment, but the effect of this album on me won’t fade so quickly. Wow, I didn’t expect any musical project this year to impress me as much as this one did.
Released at the beginning of May, it waited for me until today when I decided to give it a listen. With each subsequent song, my admiration for Kamasi Washington grew, culminating in the finale, "Prologue" – I had no words for how brilliant this closing track is.

Arca never ceases to amaze me. The deeper I delve into her music, the more I see skills that surpass contemporary perceptions of music.
Because her music doesn't fit into the categories of ordinary music, and I'll never change my mind that Arca is ahead of her time.
For me, it's a musical and artistic statement where music takes on something new, something many of us aren't ready for, or rather, open to. Just brilliant.
It's hard to imagine how a person can suffer while being a prisoner of his own psyche. It is amazing to turn this suffering into an art form that is able to make the listener realize the pain associated with the fight for a better tomorrow or for a better life in general.
Screams, of which there are many on this album, show how much influence mental health has on physical health, which will be understood primarily by people who have experienced it themselves.
Definitely one of the heavier ... read more
My second album by Joshua, which I listened to almost immediately after listening to "I Love You, Honeybear".
While "I Love You, Honeybear" reminded me a lot of the work of Sufjan Stevens, this album reminds me more of the work of Fleet Foxes, in the best possible way.
I won't lie to myself that I liked his second album much more, but this one referenced a specific issue that I need to bring up here. What I'm talking about here is the issue of the "war" with the ... read more
THE BEST ANIME OF ALL TIME 🗣🗣🗣🗣
Yeah, my favorite album of this decade so far. The power of Fiona's lyrics on this album are filled with female rage, which makes it a difficult album to listen to at first, but once you give it a chance you'll see that this is one of her best albums, if not her best. I'm sure this isn't an album for everyone and personally I wouldn't start my adventure with Fiona's discography with this album. There is also some truth in the fact that it isn't an album for men, BUT it should be added that it ... read more
"The battle in my eyes is stuck between my lips", God, how beautifully written
Whenever she's needed the most, that's when she's there, and what she's doing right now proves it. A beautiful symbol of support from Adrianne, which we won't forget.
I don't even know what to write, this album completely destroyed me.
