After her hard-hitting debut "Gore", the Congolese-Belgian singer definitively chose a softer tone on this album. The more subtle production better showcases Marie-Pierra's dreamy side, but also largely leaves out the Congolese influence which I loved. On the song “Hands Up” they say: “Let me fuck your ear up til my sperm is up in your brain.”
Apart from it being a very disgusting line... it is exactly what they do! They rape your ears and they even admit it! I want to close this review with another quote:
"Shut up, just shut up, shut up (just stop)"
This album gets too little attention! It is not the standard soundtrack, where the track list looks like the one from a DJ Khaled album. Whoever curated this took some risks and what came out is not perfect at all! But it is exciting, and it made some unknown international artists known to the world!
