SALEM - Fires in Heaven
100

Emotional music 100% is my favorite type of music. An album that can tell you a story via the lyrics or instrumental without flat out telling the story. Music is the greatest when its able to tell a story with limited words. And this album is the story of a junkie. In all this album talks about the problems with jack as much as it talks about the problems with America. In a time where drug use is glorified this album shows the horrors of drug abuse, while not sacrificing the quality of music. ... read more

American Football - American Football
100

I’m not sure if I can say anything that hasn’t already been said, but I’ll try. On the surface, this might seem like just another breakup album, and for the longest time, that’s all I thought it was. I found the riffs pretty but thought the story was basic. However, you don’t need complexity to create a masterpiece. Often, the greatest works of art are the simplest at their core. This album may have a "simple" concept, but it delves deeply into the ... read more

YABUJIN - FLASH DESIRE
90

Ethereal, surreal, and psychedelic are the best ways to describe this project. I’ve never really heard anything like it, except for Yabujin’s own work. While he takes some inspiration from RCB, his sound is so different that it’s hardly comparable. The production is insane—it feels like a PS2 soundtrack with tread drums layered over each track. Despite the chaotic energy of many of the songs, the production remains fairly simple, and everything comes together in a ... read more

Glokk40Spaz - 3vil Reflection
85

This project really had to grow on me. It’s not that I disliked it on my first listen—it just didn’t quite click. At first, it felt like Glokk mix was too low quality, while Osama had a much cleaner mix, which made the mix feel chaotic and messy. But after giving it some time, I realized this is one of those albums where the blend of styles just has to settle in. The contrast between Glokk and Osama is a bit jarring at first, but once it clicks, it really shines.

sniper2004 - 2000fourrr

I really want to like this project because it’s fun, laid-back, and comes from someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously—just making some nice bangers under a cool aesthetic. But we’re only one project in, and I’m already starting to get tired of the sniper theme. Like, I get it—you’re going to "get your snipers" and "snipe" me, and you don’t even want to be a rapper, you want to be a sniper. It’s getting old at ... read more

smokedope2016 - THE COMEUP
80

I’ve been saying this for the past few projects, but smokedope is truly the new king of cloudrap. Cloudrap is a subgenre he only really started exploring with his project "XTC", before switching things up with his debut "2016". Now, I can confidently say he’s on top. It might not seem like the hardest task, considering the genre hasn’t seen anything groundbreaking in a while—but with this album, smoke has changed the game. It’s time to start ... read more

Banshee - FAIRY METAL
50

Im not the biggest fan of her so take everything i say with a grain a salt but I thought this wasnt a bad project by any means. Rough around the edges yes, and the metal songs werent really my faveroite (might be a me thing, i really only like grindcore and mathcore).

Her vocals are really good when shes not screaming, like for some reason whenever she starts to scream, her flow turns horrible, and everything sounds choppy. This istn really a problem on the non-metal songs, for somereason she ... read more

SpaceGhostPurrp - Dark Angels
90

This is def contender for the greatest Cloudrap album of all time. SPG drugged-out and drowed style really shines his greatest through this project, a super dark and grimey cloud rap album. Oftentimes I forget this is a cloud rap album due to how outlandish this album is compared to other traditional cloud rap, but it all comes together to make this addictively sounding mixtape.

The production is some of Spaceghostpurrps best to date, M.O.B, Munnie Train, and D.U.R.S are just some examples of ... read more

Digger - Bad To The Bone
70

Redneck Sematary is the next up???

Okay while i call him Redneck sematary cuz at this point hes so much more than that but in short thats what this is. Take the countryness of HAW and mix that in with Jack Donoghue's from S4lems early rapping and you got duo of Digger and Duff. Digger holds no shame showing his inspirations but not in a corny way, he takes the concept that sematary and ghost mountain made and put his own spin on it.

Digger started his carrer to my knowalge 3 years ago, as a ... read more

Taylor Swift - THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT
20

What is there to like about this project? Why do you want to listen to a billionaire crying about how she was the "perfect partner" for the 5th time and still not realizing that it's her fault? Taylor swift is for annoying white women can't fathom that the problem could be possibly them, and her music reflects this.

The only enjoyment you can get from this album if you take it away from the rest of her work, and treat it as the first taylor swift album that you heard. But the problem ... read more

Sematary - RAINBOW BRIDGE 2
90

Sematary has been getting a very questionable rep over the underground since he birthed into the scene and has brought a sound that you either hate or love. Some people say its noise with no second hand thought and “bad music” and others think his style is completely unique and a cool blend of genres. Wherever you stand on his music everyone understands that this sematary dude is not normal. Sematary combines 2014 trap, mainly chief keef inspired trap, mixed in with witchhouse and ... read more

Lil Mabu - YOUNG GENIUS
15

I was actually pretty excited for a mabu album thinking he could be a meme rapper but on like BLP levels where he can still rap. But mabu gets way too caught up on being this gimmick.
I gotta say i don’t like modern drill, even when it’s done well, and this isn’t done well. It’s corny, and like token level corny prob worse. Like how many songs can you get a drill rapper and make them say “oh this white boy is different!” when in reality he’s just a ... read more

Human Part - .ziptape
65

This tapes slaps, hp is a lil passion project by someone i really couldn’t find but still interested me and while this tape isn’t anything crazy i still loved the paper planes remix and the cali girls remix was amazing. But the quality slaps and are really fun it’s not a full thing and kinda has the same drum loop in each track. still loved it tho

fav track: all of them

nascar aloe - SPEED
15

being a punk and making “punk” music isn’t a excuse for this turd of a ep. 8 songs thatt fuckign suck, none of them are longer than 2 minutes , and none of them are memorable the only song i kinda enjoyed was chum reap suor but other than that song each song has super choppy flow or just really bad lyrics and vocals.

this ep only shows that nascar is still only capable of one thing after being released from his ep.

fav song : chum reap suor

1.5/10

After a disappointing ep last year im glad to see sem is finally get his shit together. King of the graveyard was sem getting his jitters out before he released a tape and really glad he failed on that before, cuz this tape is really solid. Its really hard for me to rate this album cuz its kinda all over the place? Like the good songs like sacrifyce and Black Wings My Team make me think that sematary is not only back but fucking better, only to have filler tracks like benadryl angyl. Im guilty ... read more

George Clanton - Slide
90

It’s really hard to describe the feeling I get while listening to George’s Work. it has the same feeling that you get from listening to anything by HOME, or traditional vaporwave, the only difference is that George composed everything without any samples making it feel like a genuine release from the 80s mixed in with modern techniques, and it's just fucking amazing. While vocally speaking it isn’t as good as his most recent release, it’s still fucking beautiful, and ... read more

pretty cool breakcore (?) ep, not my cup of tea. There's time where this ep hits super hard and other times where it sounds way to messy. When it does sound good is chaotic and entertaining, but the lows are just messy as shit. Saw Danny brown listen to it and was interested but over all pretty good.

Fav songs: P3T, Act right, Push ur t3mprr

BRUHMANEGOD - MOTION #B4RYR
25

This album is actually god fucking awful. Beamy man, what were you trying to do with this album? With the first two songs you'd think he's taking himself super seriously and proving himself that he's still the GOAT! When in reality he just gives us mid cybertrap song and just sounds like citrate but worse. No one takes this album seriously not even the fucking features lmao, Like what the fuck is bad guy? Everyone else is not being serious at all rapping about lil baby-sucking dick and you have ... read more

abriction - Banshee
90

Blackgaze has been a genre I’ve been obsessed with ever since I discovered Sadness. After that, I quickly stumbled upon Abriction, thinking they were neat. But I didn’t really dive into their music until now, and I seriously wish I had, because I absolutely love this release. For those unfamiliar, Blackgaze is basically a mix of Black Metal and Shoegaze. Bands like Sadness tend to lean more toward the Shoegaze side, which, in hindsight, limited their sound on earlier releases. I ... read more
