Swae Lee is like Hip Hops tomato sauce (tomato, tomáto). You add it to a dish and it tastes great, but you don't eat it on its own. He should probably stick to features.
You know, some albums you need to give time to grow on you. This is one of these rare cases where one and a half listens is actually enough to say it's mid. I am a big fan of Swea's melodies but he can't make an interesting solo project. Look, I do think Swaecation was underrated a bit, however it wasn't good as well. A big problem is that the songs drag a lot here and that the features, that were needed for this (think Thug or Jxmmi on SC) aren't good enough to make the songs better. Swae Lee is at it's best when he bounces of others that add their own style.
