My 100th album review yay!!!1!1

I was really excited to listen to this, but it didnt really live up to the rest of tool's catalogue(except undertow i havent heard that yet).
Although I really like this album, but the main flaw is the track length. If you mess up on a 10 minute track like culling voices or the second half of descending it makes up for an experience that you can be easily distracted from, but I do believe this record deserves a listen with your complete attention.

The good parts now. Danny's drums are probably the best on here, he just keeps getting better and better over time, aging just does not work on him. Pneuma is definitely a top 5 tool song, this website didnt do it justice by rating it 86, the best breakdown in any tool song with an incredibly satisfying climax ("PNEUMA, REACH OUT AND BEYOND!"). Also the title track has one of tool's best choruses along with a really surreal feeling to it.

Overall, pretty good, i just expected too much coming into this.
