Late Registration has some hella high highs and very few lows, if any. You can tell the step up in production from TCD.
Wow. Just wow. Egotrip is nothing short of an incredible breakout album for John Michel, and I look forward to hearing more from him. My only criticism is that the songs do begin to blend together unfortunately, but the quality and production help make up for it. worlds end is the best song off of this.
808s upon my first ever listen was not something that I really enjoyed. Over the years, I've learned to love this album more and more, and with each passing listen I find myself liking a song more than I did before. This is one of the most influential albums on the rap scene, and it shows.
One of the best albums Kanye has ever done since his debut. A short, but very sweet listen though. Every song is great here, no slackers.
The College Dropout since my first listen has continued to grow on me more and more. Since being introduced to Kanye West through Graduation, listening to this is always a treat. The storytelling on this album on a listen-thru is so well done, and this might be one of the greatest debut albums of an artist ever. The only slack I ever feel in this album are a couple features, but those are very small.
Colors 2, Colors 2, Colors 2. Where do I even begin? Jokes aside, this album means so much to me emotionally and sonically. I love the original Colors, and to me, this is just as good if not almost better. The incredible riffs, the call backs to the first Colors, the quirkiness of Prehistory and the closing track Human is Hell is just incredible.
Love Juicy J, and hearing him on boom bap beats is incredible. First half of the album is pretty good, but the 2nd half is incredibly strong. Very nice production from Logic.
