It’s very peaceful and something to just vibe to but then there is crazy crescendos like on “Poison Oak”
I knew I was going to love this after listening to the singles and man I wasn’t disappointed it’s everything I like from Quanta’s bag, from noisy left field hip-hop to gut wrenching electronic and washed out ballads like for example “guide dog.” Apparently this is just promo for his next album which is even more exciting to see what he can do. I truly think he is one of the most talented young artists out and can really make an impact in the indie scene. I wonder ... read more
His lyrics are raw I can describe all the stories he tells on the record like I was there. It’s a lot, death is something that I is constantly brought up throughout and it’s intense but amazing. The sound is stripped back but it’s so beautiful and it’s the reason why the record is so amazing because it just show how he feels about these topics of guilt, sadness, love etc. everything showed on the album is just gut wrenching and it makes you think about experiences ... read more
It’s a record that I can’t describe so I won’t try to describe it. It’s good tho
When I go to Bon iver I don’t go to listen more produced stuff but I can’t this is still quality and wash is definitely one of my favorite songs from him
A little to poppy and jammy for me and some of the vocals come off wrong and sound a little irritating now with that being said I can’t put an album with ”fast as you can” and “on the bound” anywhere else but the green
Don’t like the vibe feels to poppy and mainstream after just listening to the other single which feels league above this one. I will the song some credit the vocals are alright and the outro is beautiful.
It’s powerful really to see her execute country sooooooo well and other song that she’s got that’s country is “daddy lessons” and fucking despise that song so to see her improve her work on the genre is incredible
Mesmerizing yet harrowing at the same time this is ahead of it’s time and I wish they could’ve worked with billy woods or pusha T cuz I feel like they would snap on this production
How the fuck has he not fallen off yet? Paid might be my SOTY so far
(73-40)
A real man can admit his faults so I will be honest I was fs wrong this shit definitely ass and paid is mid not my SOTY my bad yall.
It’s very nice and sweet I love the songwriting and he’s an amazing guitarist. Now do I think this is the greatest album ever? No, do I even think this is the best singer-songwriter album ever no. But It’s very sweet and brings me joy it’s an album that everyone can sit down and appreciate it’s clearly something he put lots dedication towards and the effort is appreciated.
