Sick tone. Never really been into any psychedelic rock or any of it subgenres but this album was peak.
The first time I listened to the La Mer I was drunk and pissing I will never top the euphoria felt in that moment of my feeble life.
Just a completely joyous album. Its hard not to smile while listening to any track and on this album.
Not got a joke for this one just a solid album. Definitley captures the vibes and atmosphere i associated with the band going into this. With this being my first dinosaur jr. Opening track "Feel the pain" was a pleasant suprise and really started off the album strong but over time it seems to get leess and less appealing with the vocals sadly starting to get whiny and annoying. A pretty damn good album overall but definitley has some flaws.
I went into a forbidden planet comic shop once and they were playing this album. I kid you not that store stank so bad that there was a thick yellow hazy mist forming on the windows and it got so bad half our group had to leave the store to go to a cafe across the street. My friend also later threw up. He claimed it wasn't connected but I know damn well.
