Very disappointing release from both Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign. A few highlights but not enough to make the LP any good. Was expecting way more.
Ye is his most personal and heart wrenching album experience. A super concise run of only 7 songs and 23 minutes in run time. He talks about personal and social issues. Very heart warming.
After a 3 year hiatus, Kanye comes out with his most all over the place album, but that's what makes it so specials.
Every song is peak and offers something new to the table. Each feature was placed so perfectly over immaculate beats.
Great rapping, great soul samples, great features. great album from a young, and healthy Kanye.
This Hip-Hop, soul, and R&B mixed album is amazing ride. Lauryn proves she is good with a solo career.
The deluxe really brings this album out a ton.
One of the best Boom Bap albums of all time. Everyone brings something amazing to the table on this record, rapping over the amazing RZA beats. 100% a classic.
Kendrick's part has some of his best rapping in his ENTIRE career over that nasty "A Tale of Two Citiez" makes it so incredible. Jermaine's part is a very fun, catchy, and addiction song, over that amazing "Alright" beat is amazing.
Kendricks most personal album. Love how he gets deep into his feelings and his family and stepped away from the savior persona.
Flawless all through out! Doom at his peak rapping having generational rhymes, and Madlib producing the best he's ever had.
Kendrick's best album in terms of concept. Blows my mind the more I think about this album. Only a genius could make an album tell a story, then have it tell a completely different one depending on how you listen to it. He just never misses.
The story about a young Kendrick in a m.A.A.d city living the life of a someone struggling in the streets at such a young age.
Best rapping Tyler has ever showed us ever! The DJ Drama addition is cool showing when there is going to be a hot verse spit by Tyler or one of his guest features like Domo Genesis, Lil Uzi Vert, 42 Dugg, NBA Young Boy, or even Lil Wayne. Bringing out anyone who can strait up rap.
Not bad at all from what people have said but not his best. As separate songs most of them are pretty decent. But as an album the direction its going is almost non existent. There is songs like 2seater a slow jazzy song, then there's Cherry bomb a loud expulsion of a song.
Big step up from Goblin and Bastard showing his great production, personal verses and lyrics, and is overall artistic ability.
This is my personal favorite album. The best heartbreak album ever in my opinion. The production Tyler has on this project are out of this world. The story is perfect. Everything about this album is perfect. Never thought that Tyler could achieve this but now I believe he could do it again.
