This album carries and atmosphere that no other album does. From Hip Hop to Art Pop to Electronic, Demon Days has it all. The production from D2 (aka Damon) and the one and only Danger Mouse, a legendary Hip Hop producer, carry the vibes to a whole other level. The writing is also phenomenal from the features like MF DOOM and Bootie Brown dropping crazy features, to D2 simple yet affective wordplay this is one of the best written albums I've heard. I find the back half of this album to be a slightly bit weaker then the front. Not to say it's bad but the top and songs like O Green World and Feel Good Inc. to go up against. The concept it very interesting and fun to follow along, being a story of personal 'Demons' and psychological traumas. Gorllaz paved a way for a generation of Hip Hop and Alternative music and definitely deserves its praise.
