This album had a pretty large amount of potential, but was held back quite a lot mostly by a handful of recurring issues: Kevin doing awkward things with his voice, such as the off-key singing at parts, the choir-like vocals on "Dracula" and the grating chipmunk vocals on "End Of Summer" and the; many songs feeling underdeveloped, both with basic songwriting like on "No Reply" or "Afterthought" and ideas that needed to be expanded upon more like basically ... read more
This album does such an incredible job at bringing attention to just how messed up the world that we're living in today is, due mainly to people who already have so much money and power continuing to seek more and more at the expense of everyone else. From the apocalyptic themes to the intense self reflection that the narrator(s) go through and the storytelling with people who are destructively greedy, there is so much heavy stuff in this album handled pretty much perfectly both with the ... read more

This album is everything I fear my life may be turning into in the form of music that manages to simultaneously be an intense burst of emotion that's screaming out for help and a set of insanely catchy songs that I've been thinking about probably somewhere around 50% of the time I've been conscious since my first few times listening to this album. On any ordinary album, vocal effects and production choices like the ones on parts of many of the tracks may make you think "Why ... read more
