So glad he swapped from Hyperslop to Countryslop! Keep up the good work br*tish "person"
21st century romance is the best song here, and they still fumbled it.
This is the problem with modern country. Jelly Roll is an alright guy, but his music is ass.
Definitely the weakest entry on his discography. (Excluding the project with glaive)
This is one of the best blackgaze albums I've ever listened to. I would put it up there with I Want to Be There.
The deadpan delivery of lines that would be better in a hyperpop song over an overblown bad shoegaze sound is a choice.
Spencer's performance on this is actively off putting for me. The lyrics are what they normally do but the delivery emphasizes how poor they are. I only like this song for Patrick's sections because he's really improved as a harsh vocalist.
This isn't the worst music ever made, but I would like to have the last half hour of my life back.
This is a very fascinating EP. It does everything an avant guard project needs to do and left me with many questions about what I had listened to.
Interesting ideas with the production. This feels like a love letter to mid 2010's hardstyle with a modern twist.
