Everything considered, this album had the potential to be great. Of course, this album was made in 2022, so we did not get the album we were promised, which is incredibly disappointing, especially with the way he just filled half the album with filler songs so that the runtime wasn't skits for the entire album. Not to mention the filler bars recycled from other songs like still pushin bars on soul food III for example. I love logic, but I wish he had taken better care of this album, ... read more
All for artists changing genre and trying new things, I respect his hand at the jazz soul rnb attempt outside his comfort zone. Although there are flaws, it was an enjoyable listen. I still need to see him expand on his sound, whether it be in this lane or by building off of Jackman.
The long anticipated The Fall Off is in my humble opinion in contention to be a classic next to 2014FHD and a near perfect album. I genuinely love this album and I know that this will be in rotation for years to come. good album but run of the mill for rocky. sequencing is random but that might be what he was going for. personally if i was a huge rocky fan id be disappointed after the wait. really hoped to see clams on dont be dumb. besides that great highs but most of the album was just good, nothing mind blowing unfortunately
genuinely surprised with how solid this sounds, logic's tame impala impression is actually impressive. idk how but ive managed to listen to this thing 7 times now. production and vocals r well done, but vocal mixing isnt the best. i can see ppl hating this project based on the way everyone reacts when logic trys smtg new, i love that he tried this and the result. anyway im giving this a great rating cus its lowkey a banger and i cant stop listening
