the definition of a mixed bag

A disrespectful and distasteful attempt at a posthumous release. It absolutely does not live up to SOPHIE's incredibly high bar for quality.

Incredibly bloated and has a lot of mediocre or even bad tracks however some of drakes best tracks to date also land on this record

Full review coming in a few days when ive had time to fully digest it but these are my initial thoughts:

Jpegmafias latest record has some of his best production to date however it is held back by its lack of substances and sometimes repetitive flows. Its got some bangers

Barely listenable slop this is not only drake's worst project but one of the worst rap albums ive ever heard. I was straight up laughing at some of the tracks they were that bad

Its like if drake took all the terrible snoozefest filler tracks that he usually fills a record with and decided to make a whole record where they're the highlights. Seriously this thing is terrible i dont think theres anything even worth any level of analysis or deeper thought.

Jane's Dariacore alias leroy has long had some of her most impressive, unique and captivating production being some of the best not only in her discography but also in music right now. Yeah this new track just isnt it, charli has long been a risk taker and innovator but that risk doesnt always pay off. This is a good example of that. instrumental and mixing are poor and lyrics leave a lot to be desired.

Z list rapper attempts to write a distrack but its just misogyny

Another solid rage single from jane, unbelivable that shes managing to roll out 2 records at once and they both are sounding as good as they are so far

This mix is crazy as someone who loved grave robbing this shit is like crack to me

A good single from jpegmafia, sample and flows are good.

Vince is absolutely one of the best, most consistent and versatile rappers out there every time his sound takes a new direction it works out incredibly well, the same can be said for this rap rock track with some fantastic flows, instrumentation and political lyrics all around its a fantastic single and gets me very excited for his next record

one of the best produced rap songs of all time, rapping is on point its just perfect top 3 lil ugly mane for me which is saying a lot his discography is stacked

2021 dariacore vibes holy peak

Whilst the record no doubt sounds incredible it starts to feel a little one note after a while and the lyrics leave something to be desired. That being said S tier production across the board.

My favourite record from the band thus far, this record is incredibly consistent banger after banger all the way through up until track 11. Had it ended there it'd be an easy 9/10 but it really crawls over the finish line with two really weak tracks

This record simultaneously has some of the bands highest highs and lowest lows. That being said the weakest bunch her are nothing worse than mediocre so they dont hold the record back too much. This couldve been great if the track list was more consistent

Amyl and the sniffers earliest work is probably their most raw album and shows a lot of great ideas that they would go on to expand and improve upon on later releases
