Evanescence (Self Titled) in my opinion is there second best album overall. It showcases more the Fallen sound mixed with The Open Door, together it makes on helluva beautiful album to jam to. This album is also heavier guitar wise, not as heavy overall as The Open Door but still amazing. Every song on here hits hard. Overall as an album, this album is easily one of my favorites, I wish this album had more love though.
The Open Door is a stronger depth and definition of Amy Lee and the bands changes in life. I really love the deeper meanings and more expanded vocal diversity and flow on the album. I also really love the heavier sound and new rhythms showcased on this album. Yes, this album doesn't beat Fallen but I don't think that deters from what this album is. I think they're both close actually, They both have amazing songs, once you get to know The Open Door more you'll love it more. Overall as an album, ... read more
Arrivals & Departures is easily in my opinion, their best album. This album is quiet amazing around the edges and it also stray's to me from it being iconic to me. This album has been on my radar longer than any of their other albums. The emoitonalness on the tracks are crazy, especially the first 6. My favorite tracks (Top 3) are "Still Dreaming" "If You Could See Into My Soul" and "Worlds Apart". The production and mixing on here are amazing. As an album ... read more
When Broken Is Easily Fixed is a rough and raw album I think could've better. I understand it's a debut so what can I expect from the album but as a whole it has good potential. Like let's say this album that "Discovering The Waterfront" quality, it would be way better. The songs overall have that rough and raw vocal and feel to it. The melodies on this album are quiet beautiful great at times like usual. Overall as an album, It could've been better but its definitely good for what it ... read more
Discovering The Waterfront is one of my favorite Post-Hardcore albums of all time. This album is also my second favorite album by Silverstein, behind "Arrivals & Departures". This album has such an iconic sound and every track has it's own personality. Especially tracks 2-5, Those are the best straight in a row. The rest are obviously amazingly made and fit the different tones of the album. Overall as an album, this album is a phenomenal post-hardcore album and album in general.
