Lucy The Alien - Planet Seffora

Another Friday arrives, a new song from me! This one's really cool. I've combined synthwave with some kinda post-punk/synth-punk vibes and even some future bass-like massive pulsating synths at the end. Really like it, and hope y'all do to :)

My collab with @fauxroot is out!! It's so peak. We combined my atmospheric synthwave-y electronic music with their shoegaze and twiddly guitar stuff and it's so cool. Give it a listen here:

My second song came out today!!! I'm even more happy than the first one. I think it's much better personally. It's more of a typical song structure, and a bit less ambient. Kinda synth-y indietronica-y 'progressive electronic'. It's kinda if Lena Raine and M83 did a collab..?

Anyways, it's out and you can listen here:

Ok so omg I released my first song!!! It's really cool. It's kinda synth-y, ambient-y atmospheric, but with guitar too. I'm super proud of it, and I'd love if anyone listens to it on YouTube or Soundcloud!

Bro this is so fun. Eurovision songs are just so varied and unique (at least the ones I've heard so far). It feels like this guy is ordering me to have a good time and I am doing it for sure.

Veronica Fusaro - Alice (ESC Version)

It's a bit generic, but like who cares when a lesbian is singing about unrequited love over some rad guitar riffs.

Alexandra Căpitănescu - Choke Me

This is really cool, like I'd actually use the word 'cool'. It's just cool. The pop rock/industrial rock guitar and drums, with like a little opera vocals damn. Am I insane thinking this is like gonna do really well at Eurovision?

AIDAN - Bella

Sorry this is really beautiful, but like a bit too cliche and at a couple points a lil boring. But it's really pretty and the climax is impactful. Also I've never heard Maltese but it's a gorgeous language.

LELEK - Andromeda

Wait I love witchy songs I've just realised this. Anyway, this is haunting, cinematic and also intense. Massive fan of this arrangement and these nearly-acapella vocals. If this is done well live, I feel like this vibe could do really well, but what do I know..

Lavina - Kraj mene

Really intense and emotional metal song, with loads of atmosphere. Bit of a slow burn, but damn the last half of this is epic. Surprised this is in Eurovision but I am NOT complaining.

slayr - Half Blood (BloodLuxe)

The cover looks enough like a bashit alien planet that I am invested. Yeah the music's as batshit as the cover, but like kinda emotional too. It's fire, and energetic af and super unique. Never heard of this artist, but I might follow what they do next now.

LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER - Eins, Zwei, Drei

My bud @fauxroot wants me to listen to the UK's entry for Eurovision this year even though I have never watched Eurovision. And it's kinda like fucking awesome? Yeah no it is. Manic synthy Electroclash is not really what I thought what be representing the UK, but like this song is somehow so British lol. Also I really relate to these goofy ahh lyrics cause fr the UK is shit and I'd much rather go to Germany or back to my home planet for sure.

Mother Vulture - Cartoon Violence

Thanks @Fauxroot for the rec!

I had never heard of this band before listening to this album, and didn't really know what type of sound this would be at all, but the description in your review got me quite excited.

First off, this album is heavy. Not heavy like Lorna Shore, god no, but heavy like you feel the guitar layers and pounding drums through your body. Heavy like sludgy, stoner metal-type heavy, combined with a whole host of other influences. I personally get quite a lot of ... read more

Some real solid songs with a raw, DIY feel that makes the noisiness, vocals and guitar stand out more actually. You say these are kinda demos-ish, but yeah, that 'unfinished' feel works with the style the songs are in tbh. Nice work.

Callum Heron - Sonosphere II

Woah, this album is super cool, like cool is an accurate descriptor of it. The synths, atmosphere and sound effects really make you think of a sci-fi cyberpunk world, and the arrangements and songwriting is fantastic. I love the glitchiness and purposeful unstable feeling in certain tracks. The songs with features are great and add nice variety, with the featured artists having different styles. Overall, a really enjoyable and unique electronic album. Thanks Fauxroot for the rec and well done ... read more

Yes, both the soundtrack and game are better than that of Hollow Knight.

Silksong is officially my favourite game.

About a week and a half ago, Hollow Knight was my favourite game.

That's how good Silksong is.

My guy you've outdone yourself with this. What a heavenly banger and a perfect title for it. I love the electronic bits so much and its very impressive how it was done in 5 hours. Also its just really good lmao.

Super excited for what's to come!

Quadeca - Vanisher, Horizon Scraper

The ocean and space are not so different. Both vast, unexplored regions that fascinate with their wonder, terror and unknown.

This album vividly depicts the ocean's capability, beauty, vastness, even when used as a metaphor for whatever the listener interprets from it, and the sonic and emotional landscape Quadeca creates through each song, portray these qualities so creatively and precisely. Melding Folktronica, Hip-Hop and Pop into the ethereal, dreamy but aggressive product that this ... read more

A new starset song, and one that's really good??!! A surprising but very welcome banger of a track.
