A very solid metal album by Slipknot. There are good songs on here but also a few bad ones. But i think there is nothing really special about this record. No special sound etc. and just solid metal.
While i love all the loud and quite indie songs from the first part of this record, which definitely can be indie rock classics in a few years, i think that the second half is rather disappointing. There were four songs i did not really enjoy. The rest of the songs were strange, cool and had a good mix of using the norm but also breaking it at the same time.
While psychosocial is one if the best slipknot songs the rest is nit very good. Tue sound was not unique and the style the band was going to do did not click with me.
Not a very album not a good one for sure
Kendrick randomly popped off with a great record, which is saldy missing a concept. But every song is a banger and a few are so thoughtful that they are enough of a concept for sure.
