With Drake's first major release since the Kenrick beef, I was expecting a return to his winning formula, but sadly not.
ICEMAN is full of formulaic 'modern Drake' tracks, which means in the occasional high, interrupted with badly written reverb dross. ICEMAN does find itself as the best album of the trio but that's really not saying much.
A more introspective - laid back album from Tom Misch. Has grown on me with more and more listens, really enjoyable tracks.
Raye's second album is ambitious, theatrical and on track to be my album of the year.
A genre blending project from a talented artist whose momentum has contained to grow.
This is an album I'll be coming back to again and again.
Yet another beautifully honest, creative and excellently produced project from James Blake.
Trying Times see's some of his best tracks to date, but the album losses steam for me in the final 3rd.
Went from being one of the most exciting prospects in the rap scene to making background music
