I am he, as you are me and we are all together
Fascinatingly unusual sound for Chicago, blending jazz, rock, blues and soul all together to come up with a diverse, experimental and virtuoso double-LP debut. The material present here is one that can—and will—easily impress you, especially when you reach the outstanding jam tracks, like "Poem 58", "I'm a Man" or "Liberation", for these are infected with hard rock elements, tight musicianship and a ... read more

Maybe not every track reaches the same height, but the LP's versatility and energy keeps you interested and thirsty for more ... read more
Oh my God... I finally get it...
After YEARS of only listening to selected Prince songs, I finally listened to one of his albums, and holy shit... I wish I had done htis sooner. Prince's debut album oozes confidence and light, being an absolute joy to listen to, especially with tracks such as "Soft and Wet", a playful, quirky, upbeat R&B/funk tune; "Baby", a charming and touching soul number, or "My Love Is Forever", which relies *heavily* on disco and ... read more
