Stick Stickly is undeniably the greatest song of the 2000s, if not the greatest song of all time.
It starts with a chuggy riff which while not atypical metalcore of this time is pretty good, and then the lead guitar kicks in with a fairly dark riff and it sets the atmosphere incredibly well.

I just rewrote my review of Avenged Sevenfold's self-titled (which was admittedly a bit lacking, however I feel like it's much better now), and that rewrite gave me the idea of reviewing Avatar's Feathers & Flesh, an album that I found to be very similar to A7X's S/T in a lot of ways.

At this point I have more faith in Staind releasing consistently good material in the next few years than Ministry. Let that sink in.
Let me preface this by saying that I was inherently a Bad Omens hater. I didn't hate some of their songs, yes, but I hated the pop/metal fusions they were doing earlier on, as I thought they combined pop and metal like water and oil. However I saw people talking about how good the new singles were, and I decided to listen out of sheer boredom and turns out they really played into their strengths.

18V are back, and they're back to sounding like metalcore Alice in Chains for a change. A welcome release, considering how much I like Vanity. Most of my comments about that release apply here, but I'm not really a huge fan of the production as it feels a little too overblown.
Remember when I compared this to Alice in Chains. I'd straight up compare this to Stone Temple Pilots! Straight up sounds like STP as a metalcore band, and not even the lame incarnation of STP. Really catchy a lot of the time, and Tower of Snakes belongs in the hall of fame of breakdowns
