both the performance and production is boring hybeslop, proving that all this company cares about is 1) drawing in fans by prioritising young visuals, and 2) maximising engagement (even negative) by letting a poorly-skilled idol who lacks training debut over much more talented individuals. guess what? both of these reel in money!

setting aside the problematic nature of msi, this album will always be one of my guilty pleasures. the songs are so unserious and crunkcore-adjacent in attitude. the horde of neurodivergent online teenagers and recent internet culture have helped shape this album to somewhat mirror recession pop of the 2000s, in the sense that objectively a lot of it is horrible slop with even worse lyrics, but you cant help vibing along with its stupidity. getting such a low score makes sense on a site like ... read more
