Peak pop music, clears BTS.

I have feelings that she will not be as bold as her other works when I hear the singles from this album, doesn't mean she isn't delivering tho.

The first track delivers that disgusting baseline, which drives the whole track to be a punching opener. The vocals and hooks are crafted to perfection, delivered in a brain-melting catchy way that just sticks. The bass is further expanded on in Music, where she is at her glitchiest in the album, delivering ... read more

House music is back???|

As in popular EDM house, a genre carried by people doing the bare minimum. It's honestly cool for me to see an house album like this getting attention.

Overall, the sounds are focused on being club-ready, while having the mix of groovy pop feelings that makes it attractive in it's own way. I do feel like some tracks are not as consistent, especially the slow, weary TTYGF, and the individual tracks can hit a bit more.

7/10, will be a 10 if they save me from ... read more

Polar bear in Arlington, Texas

HYBE was on drugs when they decide which genres the album should be, so they give it to Diplo (of all ppl) to decide. Maybe they shouldn't cuz there is NO way this can climb up on the charts but sure.

The production is either a fat mess on some tracks, while being boring and generic on others. The boys sound like lofi moaning, their performance is terrifying and messy.

maybe they shouldn't have touched these genres in the first place. Js make ... read more

WHITE BOY MAKING NEO-SOUL????

It's not crazy good, but it's passable. The lyric is average, the delivery is kinda tired. The production is clean (as it should be for this genre.

Maybe white boy can try a lil harder after another commercial album idk.

Mid

I swear a lot of people hype this album up and then it's just not good.

Out of Time sounds like rehashed worse Clarity, Tangerine Rays actually sounds bouncy and fun (Thx ellis), Shanti sounds kinda fun but also awkward at times. No Gravity has NO substance in the slightest, it's hollow and sounds like that one Sleep Token track where it's just sine plucks and a dubstep drums, but it's deep/micro house this time. Sona would have been interesting, and it's kinda ... read more

I hate the fact that I can somewhat understand what fantano says when he refer to "boring"

I mean, it's Tame Impala, ofc u are hyped. However, it's.... not the best thing I have heard for sure.

Don't get me wrong, it's good, just kinda underwhelming in some ways. There are definitely tracks that sounds neat and dare I say, good (Dracula), however, I can feel the sense of drowsiness and boredom that this album has, with not much happening, unexciting mix (too ... read more

Ascending to heaven with this one

IDK, it showed up on my Spotify recommended (yes I use it, mostly trash from my old mainly EDM days tho but sometimes I find these typa stuff)

And I'm glad to have checked. The first track combines the best of what I enjoy about music: experimentation and atmosphere. The choir, pads, glitch effects and minimalistic feelings that Jon Hopkins and others brings to the song is straight heavens. Everything is incorporated in to a godly feeling of ... read more

First ever left-wing grifting, Twitch viewer pandering music artist.

I like some of his old stuff tbh, it sounds fun, exciting and is a way to take a break from the stuff that I listen to both musically and emotionally. However, ever since I saw him reusing the same "AI art baaaad" and "My name is not bbnos" gimmick as well as as relating himself to Twitch streamers despite looking like he doesn't want to, I start to pay less respect to him tbh. Yea like AI shits is ... read more

I like the last album more despite the fact that the 2 sonically sounds the same, i fear.

imma say right here, i'm not a crazy big 21 fan, i don't know the lore, i listen to the music only.

I mean, it's good. Just like the last album, it combines the best of pop and rock nearly perfectly (nearly). the songs slap asses while the vocal delivery is diverse (shockingly diverse too, sometimes i forgor that the singer is male). the ideas doesn't excite me as much as it should be ... read more

Abysmal dogshit, a crime against humanity, the most ass thing that has ever existed since the mustache guy. All the tracks are mid, I have to see Coldplay sell their souls to corporate satans, The tracks are memorably bad. I'm not opening this dogshit emeories again ever in my life.

The type of sweet tracks that I like

The production is just immaculate, one of the sweetest and deepest production I have heard this year. It's stick to the whole theme of the album as well as the lyrics and make the overall experience a damn vibe. There's even some electronic elements in the tracks. However, it doesn't stray away from the instrumental aspect of the production, giving it an identity while not destroying the overall vibe of the production. Somehow, the production ... read more

goofy music

The whole album consists of a lot of wonky sound design that's on brand for Flume. I don't know how you can sit down in the studio and go "yea imma make weird ass noises and throw it in a song for a cohesive experience" but ig he has ways. The production is similar to his other albums like Palace and Skins. However, the sounds are more consistent and cohesive throughout the album. Personally, I dig Shine, Glow, Glisten the most, as the power of the vocals and ... read more

House that are hard asf.

The tracks are some of the most internet-people music ever and it's damn good. I always have a sweet spot for house but damn this is some real good house. A great combination of bubblegum bass, electro/bass house and trance-like vocals that just hooks you and making you wanting to get up and dance. Not only is it a compilation of feel-good tracks, it's also some of the most fun house records that I have listened this year. The production is pretty much spot ... read more

HARD ASF

I know these guys thru a JPEGMAFIA feature on one of the tracks of the album and since I know they are releasing an album, I have been pretty hyped for it, and for the right reason.

This album is straight heat, with some of the most fun and extreme pop/rap tracks that I have heard this year. The more pop-like track may have some silly lyrics but it made up for it by pure fire. It somewhat touches the same topic as brat and it completely excel at its job. I'm genuinely impressed ... read more

I don't get the hate on this one at all. When he said "Damn i'm rolling hella dih 🥀, I feel like Adihl", it touched me. The lyrics feature multiple pop culture references, showing his knowledge and wisdom. The instrumentation is one of the simplest and one of the most addictive part of this song. This is a certified hood classic despite the fact that he's white asf.

New haus

uhm? what the sigma? Joking aside, this tracks reminds me a lot of Jamie xx's In Waves album with the way the sample is used and the drums. Extremely groovy, maybe even better than All The Children due to the fact that it sounds more interesting and more intricate with the dance-ability.

the first leg of the album (heaven -> 4am) sounds somewhat generic to me despite the genre only getting popular recently. The mix of house and more future garage elements can sounds fun and ... read more

So is it now 1 Second Of Summer?

Porter brought me here. Kill Me For Always was odd the first time I listen to it. However, the track is definitely growing for me. The lyrics are not as good as I hope but the production is unique and fun but also dramatic.

Cool is... can I say it's 5 Seconds of Summer cuz it pretty much is. sounds fun tho. it pretty much goes for the whole album. Except for the first 2 songs, it's average. At least there's a white boy doing this type of rock ... read more
