This thing will probably give you chlamydia, HIV, gonnorhea and genital warts all at once if you slept with it.
Really wish the end was as punchy and explosive as the start.
Mfs don't even ask if they can hit your vape anymore they just look at you like this:
Thanks for the clitoris and the husband ig and.. OH GOD WHAT IS THAT
Ooga Booga Grindcore.
Really wish they varied some of the song structures here, it gets old real fast.
The title track has a super sick riff but I didn't really notice any standouts aside from that.
The drums also sound super crisp (a plus for me).
Decent all the way through.
A very packed album in terms of vocals and instrumentation.
It's also very very angry like holy fuck calm down.
I do not like the slow parts here though, feel like they stick out like a sore thumb. I don't really think they add a lot to this album aswell cuz like a lot of the tracks here are less than 2 minutes and the slow parts take up time that could rather be used for the 'good' parts as I like to call them.
The lyrics are nice aswell even if they feel a little too ... read more
Genuinely ruined my day
There's a sample of a little girl who was abused crying and begging to not go back to her dad's house.
Peter Sotos' pretension of being a 'rebel' or a 'maverick' is actually infuriating.
This album criticizes media hypocrisy while also being made by a hypocrite.
An anti-pedophilia album made by someone who was found with child pornography in his possession.
This album is not worth your time.
Short and Sweet
Best when listened to after the album that accompanies this
I love Extortion ( the powerviolence band), don't get me wrong.
But this one's just sad.
There's so much potential here but it's weighed down by the horrible production.
Seriously, this is the worst produced record I've heard in a while.
It literally sounds like a party that's happening next door and not in a good way.
You can barely even hear the music here which sucks cuz the parts you do hear sound pretty damn good.
Just wasted potential from a band which makes ... read more
Very impressed by the vocals here.
Pretty much all the vocals are done in low growls with some screams sprinkled in here and there and man do they go so damn hard.
This EP's relentless, giving you no break from it's brutal and demented sounds.
The drums are always pounding and the guitars are always playing some nasty ass riffs.
Nice and short hit of dopamine for me.
Sounds like a zombie beckoning to be let in while furiously pounding your door while some sick guitars play in the ... read more
Sick ass cover.
This is quite a solid and unique EP in terms of sound and the general packaging of the whole thing.
The title of each track is said before the action begins and I love that they used the discrepancy at the start of the first track in the last track.
Speaking of, the last track's literally just the whole EP in a single track, it's pretty sick.
As for the music, it's fun. It's some noise mixed with grind and powerviolence.
They do a lot with the same sounds ... read more
Suffocating.
Gnaw Their Tongues is a band I'd seen compared to other dissonant and horror metal bands like Portal and Dragged Into Sunlight. After giving both Portal and DIS a listen, I figured that this band was the next logical step.
I was wrong.
This band truly stands on another level in terms of the horror aspect of it's albums.
This record, for instance, is so dense, atmospheric and ominous that it's mandatory for you to listen to it in a dark room with strong incense on the ... read more
The best powerviolence album I've heard.
Infest (unlike any other powerviolence band I know of) pretty much nail the intensity and speed here while balancing it with slow parts and brutal vocals.
This is what I've been looking for in powerviolence for soo damn long.
It's instrumentation is unique, vocals are brutal and most importantly of all, it doesn't overstay it's welcome.
There is no moment to relax on this one, you're either bombarded with guitars or a dude ... read more
A funny side-effect of listening to a lot of extreme music is the desensitisation to depressed or sad lyrics.
The lyrics are surprisingly bittersweet here. I was pleasantly surprised.
There were also genuinely surprising moments in the album like the end of the track 'Only Acting' or the last track.
It's also a really fun and bubbly album in the sense that the production is very happy and upbeat.
I once saw someone refer to these guys as 'Life Grips' and I can't ... read more
I... don't get it.
I've been meaning to get in POG for a while now and I heard good things about this one and decided to check it out.
There are some genuine bangers on here but overall , it didn't really stand out to me.
Tracks like Heaven's gate or the last three tracks are awesome but you've also got some real snoozers here like that one random ass rap song or God Will Never Hear Me.
I will still look into their older stuff but this one definitely doesn't appeal ... read more
Really unique noise rock.
Never would have imagined you could do so much with shoegaze vocals and noise rock.
Each track is a surprise and each one stands on it's own as a good track.
There aren't really any standouts for me here because all of the tracks are really really good.
If you're itching for something new and unique, definitely check out this album and Avenade's discography as a whole.
As for the album
The first track is a brilliant starter for this album. It starts ... read more
Today I learned that there's a genre called Pigfuck and holy shit does that title fit this album
Did they like actually fuck a pig for the vocals here?
They sound so demented and sick.
Sludge metal infused with feedback-heavy noise is also one of my favourite sounds I've heard this year.
The guitars are crunchy and very distorted and the drums sound like gunshots.
I also love the way they use some melodic (?) loops of drums and guitars throughout (like the ones in the track Preyer or ... read more
