The effects of Electric Callboy are starting to show. I can see why people aren’t big on this but I thought it was fun. Some fun production choices, fun vocals, it’s all around just an enjoyable listen. I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Black veil brides have always been an interesting band to me, especially recently where I feel like their reputation has changed from what I knew it as when I first heard about them. I mainly wanted to check this out because I thought the album cover was sick as hell. This ended up being one of those cinematic metal albums that are honestly just not for me, the harsh screaming mixed with the overdramatic production and instruments just don’t mesh well in my opinion. Cyclone was pretty good though.
