Bruce Springsteen - Streets of Minneapolis

FUCK ICEEEE. I bet it's gonna be real nice when these guys get broken up in 2028 and they all miss out on their five year bonus that's been talked about. Imagine being such a heartless bastard you work for the government with the goal of targeting people of color, fuck you all

The perfect summer song, good bass and amazing vocals

Prince and The Revolution - Purple Rain

Maybe the single best record ever made, every single song here does its own thing to the best degree possible. There is not a single boring moment here, and it constantly delivers and surprises over 40 years later. From Let's Go Crazy to Purple Rain, this record does not let up. Perfect in every way. This might seem imposing when you start it, the rapid pace of Concubine and Fault and Fracture might put some off, but this gets nasty, slow, and sludgy during many of the tracks, it rewards you with breakdowns and some of the greatest riffage ever heard. The final track, the title track, is also one of the greatest closing tracks ever and probably the best metalcore track ever made (White Walls by BTBAM is a close second). Jane Doe is a record that gives you everything ... read more

Hatebreed - Perseverance

Way too long, a bit too samey, but this record of positive affirmations from Hatebreed is still pretty good. Most of the highlights are in the first third, tracks like the title track, Proven, and the fantastic I Will Be Heard have become classics for the band for good reason, but throughout the record there's great moments. My main complaint is that a few of these tracks fail to standout compared to others on the record. This is 40 minutes of nothing but chugs and positivity, and ... read more
