Day 9 of listening to every Silverstein album in order of Shane’s least favourite to favourite.
This is his 4th favourite album of theirs. This album is the turning point for the band, which shows them going in more of a metalcore kind of sound, and I think it fits them well. This is the era of Silverstein that introduced me into them, with The afterglow actually being the first song of theirs I’ve heard. Which I think is why I was into A beautiful place to drown. I don’t have much negative to say about this album other than a song or two are a bit boring.
Top 3 songs: The afterglow, Retrograde, Wake up
Least favourite: Mirror box
