I remember the first three singles (which btw are also the first three songs on the album) got me really hyped, but when I finally heard the whole record I was kinda disappointed. I mean, The Defiant, Sickness Unto You and Bending the Arc to Fear are fun songs, but the rest are pretty muck skips for me. I just can't stand more than ten seconds of them. And for an album with only nine tracks plus an intro, having three songs that feel this unbereable is a huge minus.

This is peak Bury Tomorrow, I don't care what y'all saying. I miss Jason so bad, man.
When I first listened to this album, I thought that “Fifteen Roses” and “With Love” were a kind of interlude. Now that four years have passed since the release, I can easily say that they are among the best tracks on the album.
Best tracks: Fifteen Roses, With Love, Cycles, Surrender, BMATM
Worst tracks: Sing Me to Sleep, DGGRS
The rating comes from all the car rides with my mom when I was around 7/8. Memories of a time that will never ever come back.
It grips you and destroys you continuously and repeatedly, leaving you drained when the last note of "Love Me When You Leave" plays.
Best tracks: Same But Different Now, Country Girl, Small Town Cemetery
Worst tracks: Red Rocket
This is one of the records I’ve listened to the most over the past three years, and it never disappoints. No matter what mood I’m in, I can always get into this stuff. You want aggressive sound? It’s there. You want chilling melodies? You’ve got them. You want to feel motivated? You can. You want to be embraced by sadness? You definitely will, because the lyrics feel like fucking punches in the stomach.

The first half of the record didn’t really impress me. Then "The Sound" hit, and I started feeling a rollercoaster of emotions. I felt a wrecking void inside my body while listening to Sabotage. I can't even explain it. I just stood there, staring at the nothingness in front of me, and wanted so hard to start sobbing. But I couldn't. I feel completely empty now.
This takes me back to the first half of 2021, when I was obsessed with "Melting Amber" and Invent, Animate's “Greyview.” That was probably the best time of my life in many ways, so this record brings a bittersweet taste with it. Means a lot to me, and I'm sure I'll love it more and more. AOTY contender.
Nothing bad and nothing exceptional. Too similar to its predecessor, which I didn't really like in the first place. I definitely expect more from the band that wrote some of the best albums of the last decade.
Best tracks: Circle Of Swords, Erased
Worst tracks: Lacerations, Seeds In The River
The titletrack never fails to make me sob, it has some of the most powerful lyrics I have ever read / related to. I hate it and love it so much. Thank you, Counterparts.
Mfs will listen to Arms Like a Noose and instead of throwing their bodies against the wall they will give this album a solid 70. Svegliatevi e alzate sto cazzo di voto porcod*o.
I'm not used to overlook stupid lyrics (even though Slanderous has started to make me laugh after years of listening to it), but I've always made an exception for an album written so masterfully. Five of the best songs I've ever heard in Halo, Clenching, Farewell, Aesthetics of Hate and Beautiful Mourning contribute to make this my favorite metal album of all time.
