This is Asia's Heaven on Earth (Yes). This is the musical equivalent of a day at the retirement house for elders, where you're taking care of four old ass dudes yelling at clouds. This sounds SO tired, SO fake, SO plastic and manufactured it's not even funny. They kicked Payne for this sad excuse of a sound. Disgusting.
Okay, I'll give credit where it's due, this was an improvement over the past two reunion albums. They sound more confident, less derivative of their past works, and a bit more mature. The material still is very weak compared to what the band once was, but this is probably the best this reunion lineup ever got.
Eh. Pretty consistent album, but pretty safe album. This doesn't felt like something they were passionate about, just some middle of the road rock tunes that your dad would probably think it's fire. It's better than Arena and Rare, but that's mostly it.
