Bionic is an interesting record as it sounds nothing like any previous Xtina album produced. Aguilera wanted to step away from mainstream pop music and write an electronic album based on some of her favourite artists such as Ladytron, Peaches, Santigold, and Goldfrapp. The former three contributed to the album, though her label found the results not commercial enough and commissioned Australian singer/songwriter Sia to help write some ballads to enhance the radio play. The result is a mish-mash of two different albums. Not a bad effort, but I will always wonder what could have been. Listen to: Not Myself Tonight, Bionic, You Lost Me, Glam.
