an interesting concept for an album. i agree that jack antonoff's production smoothes his sound out a little, but i don't think it fully diminishes it. i think he's still able to shine through the gloss. however, there were certain songs that sounded very bleachers to me. nothing to complain about per se, but something to note for sure.

i liked this a lot! i need to revisit it soon with a more attentive ear, but i did really like what i heard!

i was surprised by the level of vitriol that many of the popular reviews of this album contain. i think people on here are too pretentious lowkey. this is a solid album in my opinion. things don't have to be groundbreaking to still be good. if you let yourself enjoy music without worrying about whether you sound smart or cool enough in your critiques it's actually rather fun! shocker! just because this album may be more accessible to a general public doesn't mean it's bad. i ... read more
