nothing new but it got hits
whenever i hear an album that has equal parts chill shit and hard shit, it always bangs. 1300saint out of every underground rapper is the ceo of making some good music that doesnt quite hit the playlist tho. i want to support him more than i do but he just needs to surprise me more. the ysl sound he brings to the table is very similar to everyone else signed to thugs label, and im all for people who stand out from the others, so in reality i should move on this and ... read more
h&m gon love this one
ever since i listened to dark times last year it had a great refreshing side to my playlist from all the trap and rage i have in there. since then i told myself to listen to whatever vince puts out next and its a good break hearing more music like this. he makes music that is impossible to hate because im not a fan of this genre that much but its too solid not to add to the playlist. this one feels so classic, american, drummy, and aux-friendly for your whole family. ... read more
okay
worst carti signee i hate the cousin bias. this brings nothing new to the scene just a throwaway album with maybe a few listeneable songs. most features do their thing and let apollo know that there are levels to this. he is so hit or miss on flows like the first half where i fight not to skip the song to the next, but there are songs where he catches them. one thing he gotta improve on is this is his energy and confidence on the mic cuz he could put much more effort in his voice on this. ... read more
fantano effect happening once again
i dont understand why people think this sucks lol this website is a joke. this is why the world is getting so dark and depressing, don is bringing in the vibes that the world needs and hes being hated on just because its repetitive i guess. just because it doesnt sound the most original, does not mean it sucks. stop correlating the two. i think that he makes perfectly melodic and bouncy music in todays world and on top of having some of the most decent beats ... read more
better than the melodic blue
when baby keem does just his hard songs on an album you are due for some heat. im seeing keem tonight and i was debating whether id listen to this since i was surprised with tickets the day before and im very glad i did. when i think of keem's discography i dont see this being talked about enough cuz its just his most recent two albums in the conversation, but i think this deserves more recognition. i deadass think that this album competes with the melodic ... read more
finally listened to this
ive been wanting to finally listen to this album for years now and it has a different vibe than i thought. had harder beats and louder 808's than i thought because "the melodic" blue calls for a much vibier experience, but it still has the vibes i was expecting. obviously we all know family ties, durag activity, and range brothers and they were solid as usual so i was expecting greatness. i rly like his high pitched vocals more than i originally viewed ... read more
so deep but so hard
the theme of this album is so bittersweet, i dont know whether i should mourn/reflect or get hype and start getting lit. the mixed vibes of this in my opinion are executed amazingly and make this album feel how it does. there are so many amazing samples complimented with hard hitting 808's that sound honestly just perfect. then intertwined in that are those deep cuts like Lyricist, Highway, No Blame that actually hit unlike other songs like that he's just so ... read more
production value so high
when it comes to the replay value on this, ill give it a cool 8/10. the vibe on "bloodsucker" feels like the last thing i would expect saint to go through with and he did amazingly well. then the aggressive vibes i get from "set." and "kutta." are so hard and they fit so well with the album vibe with the rest of the tracks. overall great group of songs and this underrated ep deserves its respect. also watch the music videos they are ... read more
before you call it bad turn the volume to max
im a fan now. those first two songs took me out my seat. his delivery on this is so dayum nutty and the danny glover sample like dayum. i might like this one more than "all hail" cuz that took a whole different dinging vibe from saint and i prefer the trap for sure. the beats are so much harder on this and like i said the delivery is the highlight on this ep. super underrated.

he's versatile.
he can flow, he can sing, he can flex his vocal range, and he has good lyrics... 1300 saint just based off of this album shows me how underrated of an artist he is. from the interlude down, he switches the vibe and u can hear bro sing and didnt expect him to do it well but he for sure can. the production is also decent but i do think that the beats are produced alright and his vocals might be a little too loud, but i like it that way. beat selection is also fire and i like ... read more
both cool and turnt
very much like how this is his hardest work mixed with some fly stuff too. he knows how to make listenable moshpit music with repetitive parts that the crowd could get lit to. summer smash gon be fire with the local crowd and im ready to yell I FK AROUND JUMP RIGHT IN THAT CROWDD

nothing special but definitely fire
first time hearing bro and im simply just happy i heard this. very unappreciated artist. got some good playlist songs out of this and im pretty sure that this is much tamer than the stuff he actually makes just assuming off of his album covers. love his beats as well, very heavy, and hes got great vocals too.

"what the fuck did i just listen to" in the most questionable way possible. definition of quality over quantity
a smart move making those the lead singles. i was not expecting this at all. experimental rap more like experimental excuse to make a jumbled mess of a "rap" album over edm beats with his usual style. the nerve for this guy jpegmafia to blow my expectations in the most confusing way calling this experimental rap and then adding earrape for 15 songs and mixing in 5 ... read more
hazy version of closed captions
i feel like this is the album that encapsulated che's sound. the very all over the place but controlled ragey sound with his melodically mumbled voice over top of it. out of all of che's albums, i do think that that this is hos worst work, but its obv still good cuz che's discog is that stacked. on some of che's newer projects, his instrumentals and melodic performances from his are much better, but thats just the problem with this one. its ... read more
two different vibes entirely
first song was the most perfectly rated che song ive ever heard, nice 7/10, then second track was too loud tbh. japan aws super smooth and playlist ass for sure, then tony tony sounded like a closed captions song that was done incorrectly with the wrong preset on.

he was 15 years of age.
after fully digesting sayso says, rib, encore, fully loaded, and paradies, che has become one of my goats. i NEEDED to listen to the rest of his discog since i listened to sayso and beyond. starting with his first ep, its is fucking clear that che can never miss and i dont think he ever will. HE WAS 15 FLOWING LIKE THIS, and it was clear that this mf was going to have a lasting career after dropping his first tape. the beat selection is just a tamer verion of his ... read more
japan keep doing experimental stuff like that with your voice
there realistically should be no reason for me to hate on this one cuz i prefer his harder stuff than his dreamier music, but something isnt really hitting on this one. my favorite one off of this might be "PeopleNeverChange" where he strains his voice so much. im a giant fan of uniqueness in music in general and his unique voice on that song is so fun to listen to despite how interesting and low rated it is. my favorite ... read more
feels like a beautiful but well produced mess
this project feels like a "safe travels" but with ethereal choirs added with much harder sounding with bass. the pianos, then the singy vocals and vibes from this project intertwined with hard 808's dont really mix. i think that japan needs to either make a dreamy cohesive vibe album or a hard underground style album and shouldnt mix them like he did with this album. i hate that i dont really mess with this, because for each song i ... read more
