most of the time i forgot i was listening to a re-release until a random lyric change (a change for the worse, usually) pulls me out of the experience. if your gonna do something like this i’d like to see a little more commitment is all.
this mix is just terrible and makes the project hard to listen to. i'm not the type to get that picky over lyrical content but i could not pick out one coherent bar through the whole runtime.. it has a lot of cool things going on, the production reminds me of frailty and fete de la vanille, which would probably make this an album id really like but in the end none of it comes together and you end up with a washed out empty listen that i cannot see myself going back to
hated this off first listen on release, now just feel alright about it. i just find che's performances lazy and unremarkable over the great production. the short song structures also dont help, making each song end before it actually could develop into something really interesting. overall i just wish i could see the hype but this just falls flat for me
another rage album that falls into alot of the same problems most do. theres just not enough here to justify 21 songs or make it stand out compared to the rest of the scene. easily the best song is you ready because its not rage and surprisingly he pulls that off really well to the point i wish he did a cloud rap album instead
best described as otherworldly.. for being a bootleg its incredibly well done. feels like your traveling through some alternate dimension early 2000s pc game. yabujin does not get enough credit for how special his music really is
a amazing return to form from gorillaz, it almost feels like it could be a sister album to plastic beach at times.
i wish it was less stripped back and leaned more into the industrial sound that was on house, but overall its still a pretty good album in what feels like a very different world for charli xcx so i cant be too mad at it
70 -> 95
some of their best songs rerecorded in the bands best sound, refining the lofi sound to be very listenable yet keeping its charm
i get why she deleted the songs she did, they're definitely the weakest on the project. still rate this over the abridged one though since this just feels more complete.
just quantity over quality, he sound like he don't even care on most of these songs.. mound falloff is heartbreaking
(35 -> 60) this album is all over the place for sure, but theres something about it that keeps me coming back.
