BEST 3: Starman, Five Years, Suffragette City
WORST 3: Soul Love, Hang On to Yourself, It Ain't Easy
thanks for the recommendation animator. (rating Narcotics as Me Now, Pure Enough as This Life and This Life as Good Night cause I don't wanna review on the reissue page)
BEST 3: If Tomorrow's Not Here, This Life, and the 2nd track yeah cant say that
WORST 3: Knotty Head, Story: No Title, Sick & Tired
I used to really like JPEG's abrassive-ness but sometimes his surreal and exaggerated nature of his songs and lyrics is too much. With the amount of songs and short runtime of each one, a lot of them are either perfectly tied up or can't develop at all...and yet a lot of still feels dragged. When a song is getting repetitive and annoying, he just decides to add metal instrumentals to it which sometimes worked in his previous album but this just feels like a cop out. it improves near ... read more
im not really into ambient music all that much but this whole thing is such a trip for me even though I was never actually too big into playing Minecraft, the memories from childhood still serve me well. C418 makes a great atmosphere ranging from themes with peace, isolation, fear, sadness, reconciliation and moving forward...am i even making sense. some of these are hard to rate as songs - think it more as an experience. That being said, an ambient album that is almost an hour long will ... read more
okay beatlesathon again. the first half of this album pales in comparison to the second half. The psychedelic turn they took is high risk high reward in their whole catalogue, sometimes generating their best songs. This is when they were taking the most drugs.
BEST 3: I Am The Walrus, Strawberry Fields Forever, All You Need is Love
WORST 3: Flying, Blue Jay Way, Magical Mystery Tour
link in a park with linkin park watching Lincoln park a lincoln.
lmk if you get what i mean by this: this whole project is the kind of music i can just like look at myself in the mirror with...does that make sense. anyway all the music is consistently good but a lot of it is just a blur to me.
BEST 3: In The End, One Step Closer, Crawling
WORST 3: A Place for My Head, Cure for the Itch, By Myself

not much hope because of the worst rollout oat, expected AI and kanye being kanye in general but lets hope he has his spark back. Glad to see that the AI use has definitely gone down since it was first teased/previewed but its still prevelant in the last third of the tracklist. Some songs channel different Kanye eras and do a good job at it (e.g. whatever works) but they are worser than what they're tryna immitate despite still being good. Can't believe a recent kanye album can be ... read more
alrighty now this album is the shirt i specifically have, it's the in utero tour if you're wondering now lets see if i prefer this over nevermind.
Now this is moreso leaning into the noise rock I was talking about but this feels even more raw than what was on Nevermind which I prefer. I think that this albums best parts do come from the sick ass guitar riffs and whenever Kurt opts for a more melodic approach rather than the grunge usual of screaming - although does bring a lot of ... read more
i own a nirvana shirt, it is about time i listen to their most popular album in full so i don't get ashamed.
Usually I assume Grunge is a genre that is not widely-popular with the masses, even certain rock heads but this whole album disproves that assumption. Obviously, it has big big big hits all comfortably reaching a hundred million in streams - there's a reason for it. Additionally, I view a lot of this as 'noise rock' and that can at times be unappealing in some ... read more

okay, I loved the first two Oasis albums so I decided to take a gander into their discog and see what people deem as albums that tanked their reputation. It obviously doesn't live up to the previous projects but it's still very good..I enjoy a lot of these songs and I'd even think they'd be great if they weren't so fucking long they just seem to meaninglessly drag on and on for no reason. Sometimes it does just seem like yeah shit is happening but with Oasis you learn ... read more
final listen for my radiohead discog run, took a while to get around to this but don't ask.
when someone tries to argue that radiohead isn't all depressive music, this album doesn't help their arguement. Radiohead went back to focusing on creating a saddening atmosphere which they're always great at. usually not into the ambient side but this pleasantly surprised me. very very consistent, think there is a lack of variety though and it all kind of blends in with one ... read more
