Fantastic hard-hitting riffs paired with slow, melodic breaks. Just the right balance for people like me who are not usually into full-on metal. Easily their best album.

Dresselhuis is an amazing, emotional lyric writer. IMHO she is at her best when she performs live and solo on the piano. I came across her music through the "one day one song" challenge that she did.
This studio album does a pretty good job at capturing some of that magic but tends to make me a bit sleepy at times. Overall, very good debut album though.
